Over 200 people took over Andover Sports Academy Astroturf on Saturday in support of the Fitness 4 Faith fundraiser.

Martial Art World (MAW) hosted the outside martial art fitness session to raise money for local youngster and Little Ninja Faith Sharp. In July five year-old Faith was diagnosed with a brain tumour and given a year to live.

Following the tragic news people from Andover and the surrounding areas have taken part in a variety of events and fundraising activities to raise money for the beautiful and brave little girl. Funds will go towards an assortment of experiences and trips for Faith and her family to enjoy together in the coming months.

MAW has been working alongside the Chantry Centre and SAM (Smiles and Memories). The latest event has brought the total money raised to £4000 making a trip to Disneyland and Lapland possible for the Sharpes.

Faiths mum Laura said: “I would like to say thank you to everyone who came and a massive thank you to the MAW. Without them some of Faith dreams wouldn’t come true, they are a big part of our lives and part of our family and we love them all.”

You can find out more information on up and coming events on ‘Faith Sharpes Year’ Facebook page. The next fundraising event is ‘Faiths Charity Fundraising Race Night’ to be held at the Wolversdene Club on Friday the 16th October. So get involved and get donating!
