Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market is back and will be springing into action in the High Street on Sunday, 15 March from 10am – 2pm.
The market is set to start as it means to go on for 2015, with a bumper array of more than 50 stalls offering a huge range of goodies – just in time for that last minute special Mothers’ Day treat. Gift ideas abound with new traders including Heavenly Jewels and Thistle and Love, along with regular favourites such as KS Blooms, Kirsty Colbourne, Tubbs Cosmetics and many more.
Foodies will love the homemade pies and pastries offered by Mud Foods, fabulous fish delicacies from Catch and produce from popular mainstays such as The Flour Stall, Sopley Salads and Hampshire Game.
If browsing all the food stalls makes you hungry then pause for a quick pit stop and indulge in the delicious street food on offer from The Pie Hole, Bubble &, Oaktrack Smallholding and Chit Chaat Chai.
Leader of the Council, Councillor Ian Carr, said: “After a short break in the worst of the winter months, the Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market is back with a flourish. The regular monthly market is arranged and managed by the Council, and is one of the many and varied success stories borne out of the Andover Summit, drawing crowds from across the local area.”
Other attractions for March’s market include live music in the Time Ring from local duo Dragonfly Rhythms between 10.30am – 12.30pm and free microchipping on the day at the Dogs Trust Stall.
The markets will continue throughout the year on the third Sunday of each month.
