As the autumn months take hold; the new school term gets underway, and the leaves fall from the trees, now is the perfect time to regroup, reassess and make positive changes for the future. Enham Trust can help; supporting people who require care in their own homes through their personalised Care at Home Service.
Delivering person-centred care to people living with disabilities or requiring care in their own homes due to long term health conditions, elderly people, or people with temporary care needs, Enham Trust’s Care at Home teams are highly experienced in personal care, medication administration, finance management, and welfare checks.
Also able to offer general support with everyday tasks such as shopping or attending activities, Enham Trust’s dedicated team are committed to supporting people in their journey to independent living.
Enham Trust’s vital work – supporting over 7,500 disabled and disadvantaged people across the country to live as independently as possible – focuses primarily on personalisation; putting choice and control back into the hands of the people they support.
Working with their clients to develop personalised care plans, Enham Trust ensures each individual’s needs, wishes, and ambitions are realised.
For Enham Trust Care at Home client Martin, from Andover, the service has been invaluable.
“I contracted respiratory Polio in 1957. It affected me in all the usual ways but I could walk and I worked for 40 years,” comments Martin. “I’ve been retired for 10 years and last year, in June, I broke my leg. Now, one of my legs is shorter than the other and one of my knees has been damaged, so I can’t yet walk again.
“I couldn’t do without Enham Trust’s Care at Home service! I’m visited twice a day, every day. Someone comes in in the morning to help me with personal care and someone comes in in the evening to help me tidy and things like that.
“I have to say that the care I’ve received has been excellent all round!”
