The Test Valley Business Awards Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony, where this year’s winners will be announced, represents a great opportunity to hear about and celebrate the success of just some fascinating enterprises. It also allows guests to network with other local businesses and gain valuable publicity to promote themselves.

Donna Westwood, owner of UCPS eLearning commented on being shortlisted:

“UCPS eLearning are thrilled to be finalists in the Employer of the Year category. I am a firm believer in treating others as you would like to be treated. At UCPS eLearning we see our team members as whole people – not just employees – and when treated with respect and trust our team are more productive, more satisfied and more fulfilled.

“We offer truly flexible working, extensive tailored training (including apprenticeships), and access to excellent nationwide discount schemes. Most importantly, we listen. Happy employees = Happy customers, which is great for business! Being recognised for commitment to our team is wonderful.”

Similarly, Head of Sales & Marketing for MOR Solutions Ltd., Emma Clowes, said: “Having grown from being a ‘one man band’ to an employer of three (soon to be four!) additional staff in less than two years, we at MOR Solutions Ltd are really excited to have been shortlisted for this year’s Employer of the Year Award.

“It makes sense to us that a happy, local, invested workforce leads to not only better productivity but also better relationships with our clients, suppliers and partners. As an employer, the development and wellbeing of our whole team has led to them being committed to, and taking ownership of, their roles, and we are delighted to have this opportunity to attend the awards ceremony and network with other likeminded businesses”
