Do you recognise the man in this e-fit image?

We would like to speak to him in connection with a rape investigation.

It took place between midnight and 2am on Sunday 19 March, around the back of the Wolversdene Club, in Love Lane, Andover.

The 22-year-old victim was approached by a man and then sexually assaulted.

The man is described as: white, aged 30 to 40 years old, big nose, chubby face and cheeks, light stubble, scar under his left eye which ran down at a slight angle

Wearing a black hooded top that was zipped at the front, with the hood up, and dark and silky tracksuit bottoms

Wearing white and black Nike trainers which were black around the foot and with a white tick near the heel

Had an Eastern European accent

Detective Constable Ed Tyrie said: “Fortunately these types of incidents are rare in Andover and we are following all available lines of enquiry.

“Speaking to victims in investigations like these can be a long and complex process, and we are only now in a position to publish this efit image.

“Do you remember being in the area of Love Lane in the early hours of Sunday 19 March?

“Remember seeing anything suspicious? Do you recognise the man in the efit image? If so, please get in touch. You may hold information that is vital to our investigation.”
