Strong winds have arrived today (Thursday 23rd February 2017) in association with storm Doris, wind and rain has already arrived across the area, but the Met Office predict gusts of 60-70 mph likely throughout the day.

Andover & Villages is receiving reports of fallen trees and damage effecting travel across the area.

15.46pm – Tree down on the road from Upper Clatford to Danebury – blocking all of the roads.

12.50pm – Tree down Winchester road just up from the Dentist/Mencap one lane blocked going into town.

12.04pm – Picket Twenty on the Old Lane, affecting Furlong and Mile Close.

11.42am – Tree down in Heathman Street, Nether Wallop.

11.04am – Lovell Close, Thruxton – blocking access into the village.

08.51am – Tree fell in the middle of the road on the way towards Vernham Dean just past The Fox in Tangley.
