Develop Your Child’s Skills With KumonAt your local Andover Study Centre, Kumon offers individualised maths and English study programmes which are tailored to all ages and abilities. Established for over 50 years, the Kumon programmes enable children to develop their study skills and confidently tackle advanced work.

Your child will initially start at a comfortable level, with a focus on building a strong foundation in the way they study; including developing pace, concentration and rhythm, students begin to work independently. They learn to correct their own mistakes, further increasing their ability to solve new problems, as they smoothly progress to higher-level work beyond their school level.

Through daily study of the Kumon programmes, your child will develop the ability to learn for themselves so they do not become dependent on – or limited by – the skills and knowledge of others. Your child will then be able to apply these skills to all subjects and outside of school too.

Kumon aims for our maths and English students to reach an international approximation of their school grade (the Kumon International Standard), within their first year of study. By supporting students to reach and surpass this international standard, Kumon is equipping students with the independent learning skills and ability in maths and English to successfully compete in an increasingly global community.

Kumon Educational is the UK’s largest supplementary education provider, with over 70,000 students studying at more than 670 study centres.

The Kumon Andover Study Centre is located at Unit 23, Duke Close, West Way, Andover SP10 5AP with classes running on both Mon and Thursday between 3.30 – 6pm and on Saturday 9 – 11am all year round.
