Fantastic quote from a Kumon parent…

‘Child A has been attending the Kumon Centre in Andover for approximately 3 years studying mathematics. As the centre has grown in numbers over the years, so has Child A’s confidence, not only in mathematics but in all of her academic subjects. It’s not been easy. Sometimes Child A needs to be guided and encouraged, but on the whole she herself realises that Kumon is beneficial and has assisted her in being in the top group of her academic year after year. We have no doubt that Child A’s confidence gained through Kumon, has resulted in being appointed a school councillor and winning many awards in school. Carrie and the staff in the Andover centre are a friendly bunch but have a strict, no nonsense approach to study. Hard work inspires top results and as long as the centre is in Andover, we’ll continue to use its excellent resources.’ Mr K

Kumon Andover, have a desire to create a generation of confident, independent learners who take pride in their studies. The primary aim of the Kumon Method is to develop independent learning skills. To achieve this, Kumon study takes students beyond the level they are studying at school and provides learning materials which are unfamiliar and compel them to develop new learning strategies to deal effectively with new challenges.
