Over 100 people flocked to the farm for the Oaktrack Smallholding autumn open day on Sunday.
The family run business produces a wide variety of home-grown and home-reared products and is particularly passionate about native breeds.
Owner Tina Wells was thrilled with the turnout: “It was a really good day and we all enjoyed it. There were lots of smiley faces and the weather was very kind to us.”
Crowds basked in the scorching sunshine and enjoyed an afternoon of fun on the farm Taste buds were tickled by a range of delicacies that were available for visitors to try; hungry hoards tucked into the home-made sausauges and range of preserves on offer.
The hosts provided an array of activities for all ages to get involved with including collecting fresh eggs from the feathered inhabitants and a meet and greet with the furry residents.
Tina told us Oaktrack will be hosting more events in the future including a ‘Christmas Pop up Shop’ which will be open on the 31st October and the 1st November of this year.
