What's On | Cracking comedy at The Lights just got Better | Andover & VillagesTop name comedy has become a feature at The Lights, and the venue has done it again. Dave Gorman comes to town for a four night feast of laughter this summer.

So far this year the venue has played host to Michael McIntyre, Tom Allen, Lee Hurst and Shappi Khorsandi, with Lee Nelson, Simon Evans and Gary Delaney still to come. The Lights are now delighted to announce that they have secured Dave Gorman for a four night run on 30, 31 August and 2, 3 September with his With Great PowerPoint Comes Great ResponsibilityPoint – Work in Progress. The man behind Dave TV’s hit show Modern Life Is Goodish as well as Are You Dave Gorman? and Googlewhack Adventure, is back on the road and stopping in at Andover.

As the title suggests, he’s bringing his laptop and projector screen with him so expect the ‘King of Powerpoint comedy’ (Guardian) to have more detailed analysis of those parts of life you’ve never stopped to think about before. Hey, not all heroes wear capes.

With support from Nick Doody.

‘Dave Gorman is funny and brilliant in equal measure’ (The Times) ‘There is no need to draw a graph to calculate that this is an extremely entertaining evening’ (Evening Standard)

Comedy at The Lights is sponsored by The Weyhill Fair Public House.

Tickets are now on sale on line: www.thelights.org.uk and at the Box Office: 01264 368368.
