An innovative community café, run by leading disability charity, Enham Trust is calling for volunteers.

The Enham Trust Café, the social heart of Enham Trust’s community, provides a unique opportunity for disabled people to gain skills and confidence in hospitality and catering, preparing them for future employment. The Café is supported by a team of staff and volunteers who support the running of the café.

Sharon Manzur, Head of Day Opportunities, commented;

‘’We are looking for local people who would like to join our team of volunteers to support the running of the Café. It is a great way to build your CV, learn new skills, meet new people and make a difference locally.

“It doesn’t matter what your skills, experience or background are, or how much time you have to give. We provide full training and support. We would love to hear from you if you would like to get involved.”

The Café is open Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm, and is soon to open on a Saturday. It provides a much-needed social space for its clients and tenants to meet friends and family, and has been a huge success since its official opening in early 2018.

If you are interested in volunteering at our new innovative Café, and are aged over 16, then please visit our website’s volunteering opportunities: or call 01264 345 800.
