Cocain and Ecstasy Seized From Car on A34Officers seized a large amount of Class A drugs from a car stopped on the A34.

Shortly after 1.15pm on Friday, January 23, officers from the Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle which was travelling along the A34 near Tothill Services.

Following a search of the vehicle officers discovered a large amount of Cocaine and Ecstasy.

A 33-year-old man from Southampton was arrested for intent to supply Class A drugs and bailed pending further enquires until March 30.

Sergeant Lyndon Barrett from the Road Policing Unit said: “Illegal drugs have a devastating impact on our local communities.

“Whenever possible we will take proactive measures to disrupt individuals bringing illegal drugs into Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.”
