Popular TV series, ‘Don’t Tell the Bride’ hits our screens in a new series tonight with local attraction, Cholderton Charlies as the wedding reception location.
In the series, the Groom makes all of the decisions, from wedding cake to wedding dress, for him and his Bride to be for their wedding day.
The fun starts on BBC Three at 9pm and shows Cholderton Charlies hosting their very first (of hopefully many!) weddings!
Exactly two years to the day of Cholderton Charlie’s and marketing manager, Sophie McConnell appearing on our screens for Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me, both are back with a bang to feature the Farm’s very first wedding! The show was filmed back in April of this year, with the best men and Mark, the groom, visiting the farm with a view to using it as a potential wedding venue for his wedding to his bride-to-be Alex.
Mark had just three weeks to plan his entire wedding on a budget of just £12,000 and Cholderton Charlie’s with it’s 40-plus acres of land, seemed perfect for his farm-themed wedding reception! Mark decided the farm and the staff would accommodate him perfectly and decided to proceed with booking the farm for the reception.
Tune in to tonight’s episode to see how he, Sophie and the Farm get on with providing Alex the wedding of her (or not so) dreams!
A spokesperson from Cholderton Charlies told Andover & Villages, “There are lots of giggles and tense moments! Tune in!”
