Charity Curry Night Raised £500 For Enham Trust

Local Andover curry house, The Chillies recently hosted a curry night for leading disability charity, Enham Trust, raising £500 for the charity.

The restaurant offered guests a delicious Indian buffet at the bargain price of £9.99, with half of all proceeds raised going to the Trust. Diners enjoyed a selection of curries, varying in heat with rice and naan bread with many heading up for seconds!

Supporters of the charity night were joined by the charity’s Chairman, CEO, Trustees, and The Worshipful the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Iris Andersen who were all delighted with the evening.

Enham Trust’s CEO Peta Wilkinson said: “It’s so heart-warming to see so many local faces supporting our charity. It is nights like this that can really make a difference and the extra funds help us to support more disabled people to gain independence and control in their lives.

“We’re incredibly grateful to The Chillies for hosting the night for us and all those who came along. The night was a success and the curry was delicious!”

The £500 raised at the event will go towards the charities core funding, helping the charity to continue supporting over 7,500 disabled and disadvantaged people each year.
