Local News | Celebrate 50 years with the Hawk Conservancy TrustKeep the date free for the 1960’s Revival Weekend that will market the year that a wildlife park first opened on Sarson Lane, Weyhill.

Each day of the Early May Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday 2, Sunday 3 and Monday 4) there will be special events around the Park to celebrate our golden anniversary.

Daily, there will be a 1960’s style band to greet our visitors and to get them in the mood to join in with the theme of the weekend. On Saturday the band ‘Most Harmless’, on Sunday ‘Echotape’ and Monday the band will be ‘Vintage’. Also creating the scene will be a live jive dance group.

Visitors are asked to support the event by visiting the Park and to come in 1960’s dress (if you would like to). You might have a little Mary Quant number, or a psychedelic shirt stashed away which you could wear.

If you come dressed in a full 1960’s style outfit – you will get 20% off your admission price. There will also be a daily prize for the best dressed.
