The victim dropped his wallet in London Road, Amesbury, on 12 February 2018.

He reported the loss to his bank a few days later but a number of transactions had taken place at shops in Salisbury and Amesbury in the meantime.

Around £90 was spent on the card in total and the money has been refunded by the victim’s bank.

Officers have obtained CCTV images from two of the businesses and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in the picture.

He is described as aged between 30 and 40 years old, wearing a beige and black puffer coat with a hood, a red and white bobble hat, grey tracksuit bottoms, black trainers, and a black backpack.

Anyone who recognises the man in the pictures is asked to contact PCSO Levi Morphy, from Wiltshire East Community Policing Team, on 101. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
