Police looking for suspects of criminal damage case

Do you know this person?

Police would like to speak to them after a spare of criminal damage in the Black Dam area of Basingstoke last week.

Between January 1 and 4 several cars have had their windows smashed and tyres slashed, while windows to some houses have also been damaged.

This has happened mainly after 3pm and in roads such as Gainsborough Road, Chesterfield Road, Landseer Close, Munnings Close and Holbein Close.

PCSO Lee Gardner said: “We have stepped up our patrols in these areas as a result and are working on several lines of enquiry thanks to the support of residents.

“We have been given some good CCTV images, such as this one, by residents in the area, which are helping with our investigations.

“If you recognise this person, please get in touch, as we think that they will have information that could assist with our enquiries.

“We would urge anyone who has any cameras up, whether on their homes or dash cams in their cars, to take a look at their footage and see if they have captured anything that could help us.”

If you have any information, please contact us on 101, quoting reference number 44190002780.
