BREAKING NEWS: Boy Appears in Court Following Halloween Stabbing

A 13-year-old boy from Amesbury who was charged with wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article has appeared in court today.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been remanded in a youth detention centre and is next due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on Tuesday 6 November.

The boy was appearing in connection with the incident in Jaggard View, Amesbury, on Wednesday night (31 October 2018) where a 15-year-old girl suffered a knife wound to her shoulder. She has since been discharged from hospital.

We would like to remind people that the case is now active and the defendant is not allowed to be named due to his age.

Any speculation or discussions on social media could jeopardise the police investigation and court case.
