Appeal To Find Two Burglars

We are appealing for information following two separate street robberies in the Oakridge area of Basingstoke.

The first took place between 6.15pm and 6.45pm on Tuesday 23 October, when a 20-year-old man was walking in the underpass between Shakespeare Road and Oakridge Road.

Two men approached him. The victim was punched in the face. He dropped his phone and then ran away.

The first man is described as:

  • between 16 and 18 years of age
  • around 5ft 6ins tall
  • of medium build
  • wearing a black jacket with a small white tick on the right hand side, black trousers, grey trainers with a white logo on the sides
  • carrying a satchel-type bag with a white logo

The second man is described as:

  • between 16 and 18 years of age
  • around 5ft 5ins tall
  • of medium build
  • wearing a black mask across his face, a green hooded top with a black jacket over the top, black trousers with a white logo on the right hand side
  • carried a black man-bag

The second robbery took place between 9.45pm and 10.15pm on Friday 25 October in Oakridge Road, by the Oakridge Community Centre.

A 16-year-old boy approached by six men and punched in the back of his neck. A bag containing clothing was stolen.

The men are described as wearing black/dark blue sporty clothing.

At this stage, the two robberies are not being linked, but we are keen to hear from anyone who saw what took place or who has any information on what happened.
