A five year old Bengal Eagle Owl called Biscuit caused great hilarity at Finkley Down Farm today (22nd August 2018).

Biscuit’s handler from K&H Falconry was working with him in the farm’s arena when the owl decided to fly off plan.

Despite the handler’s best efforts to take back control of the situation, Biscuit flew off every-time he was near capture.

Visiting the mini landrovers, the sandpit (twice!), the car park and various other locations, the handler valiantly followed Biscuit on his travels.

Finally Biscuit landed on a five bar gate at the entrance to the park and the handler was able to grab the bird’s jesses and capture him safely.

After the incident Biscuit was no worse for wear and sat atop his perch looking very proud of his adventure!
