Autumnal Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market

Celebrate the bounty of the autumn harvest and pop down to the Andover Farmers’ and Crafts Market on Sunday, 19 October from 10am to 2pm.

Local producers will be out in force with stalls brimming with seasonal produce and delectable goodies.  Alongside old favourites like Hampshire Game, Selsey Willows Seafood, Lonefairy Jewellery, Lacey’s Nic-Nacs and New Forest Smokery there will be new appearances from Mapleleaf Watercress, Pink Fox and Everything Garden.

If your tastebuds are tempted and your tummy rumbles whilst browsing the tempting array of goods on offer, food on the go is also available from new trader The Gourmet Grilled Cheese Company and the ever popular Chit Chaat Chai.

All of this is set against the backdrop of music in the Time Ring from contemporary folk duo Anna and Beth between 10.15am and 12pm.

Leader of the Council, Councillor Ian Carr, said: “The stage is set, and with a dash of autumnal sunshine the scene will be perfect for a leisurely Sunday morning browse.  Don’t miss out on your chance to shop local and support the producers that are on your doorstep.

“It is the continued and generous support of the public that makes the Andover Farmers’ and Crafts market such a successful and flourishing addition to the High Street.”

There will be two more Andover Farmers’ and Crafts markets in the lead up to Christmas – Sunday, 16 November and Sunday, 21 December.  Mark them in your diary and make them part of your Christmas shopping plans.
