Local news | Augusta's Leaning Lampposts The Augusta Park development in Andover has two leaning lampposts that have been left unfixed for months.

One of the lampposts is on the main Smannell Road going into the estate, and was broken when a car crashed into it earlier in 2015.

Andover & Villages spoke to Cllr Phil North, TVBC councillor for Alamein. He said, “Following reports from local residents I have been liaising with the developer, Taylor Wimpey, and Hampshire County Council to fix the leaning lamp post in Augusta Park.

“I’m pleased an order has now been placed for repair. This could take up to 30 working days as SSE will have to obtain a road opening notice, but I have pressed the case for it to be done ASAP and I hope it will repaired soon.”
