The Andover Artisan Market is held on the third Sunday of each month, and August is no exception. The High Street will abound with stalls of all descriptions on 19 August from 10am – 2pm.
The mid-summer market will play host to a wide range of stalls, including newcomers Marcelle K Designs with handcrafted designer jewellery; Meet and Treat with delicious waffles, tray bakes, fudge and cookies, and Elephants and Penguins with lots of lovely gift ideas.
Fresh vegetables, salads, seafoods and meats will all be catered for by regular favourites including Greenfield Pork, Selsey Willows and Oaktrack Smallholding, and will be complemented by breads, cakes and other baked goodies from Rise ‘n ‘Shine Bakehouse and A Basing Bakes with gluten free options. Janet Mary Designs will be back with her gorgeous hand-tied flowers and unusual arrangements, and for garden plants that will thrive in this hot weather visit Sue Peecock Plants.
This month you can combine your visit to the Artisan Market with a Heritage Trail tour of Andover at 11am or 12.30pm. Find out facts that you never knew about the town in this fun and interactive guided tour which commences at the Town Mills. Tickets are FREE but must be pre-booked and collected in advance from The Lights Box Office: 01264 368368.
