The incident took place around 4.45pm on Saturday, January 9, when the 69-year-old male victim was withdrawing money from the cash machine by the HSBC bank.

A man approached him and attempted to grab the money the victim had withdrawn. After a brief struggle, the man ran off empty-handed.

The man is described as black with a black beard, around 5ft 6ins tall and wearing a dark jacket.
