Hampshire News | Appeal for Witnesses Following Fatal Collision | Andover & VillagesWe are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision near Basingstoke yesterday morning.

Officers were called to Ridge Lane, Newnham, at 11.40am yesterday (26 April) to reports of a collision involving an agricultural tractor and a motorcycle.

The 62-year-old male motorcyclist, from Upton Grey, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. Formal identification procedures are ongoing.

The 25-year-old male driver of the tractor was uninjured.

Officers investigating the exact circumstances of the collision are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

They would also like to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision.
