Appeal following serious road traffic accident on the B3400 near WhitchurchPolice are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the B3400 at Freefolk near to Priory Lane yesterday evening (Sunday, January 18).

At about 9.04pm a silver Ford Focus left the carriageway and collided with a wall, before coming to rest on its roof.

The driver, a 17-year-old youth, suffered serious head injuries. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or saw the vehicle prior to the collision.
