Andover Young Carers had a great time when Tesco Extra, from River Way in Andover, visited them at Churchill Bungalow on Admirals Way this month.
Tesco Community Champion, Sheryl Scott-Clarke, took the Farm to Fork project to the teenagers to teach them all about the food they eat, cook and buy.
Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Jan Lovell, came along to the final session to award certificates and judge a competition that had been set by Sheryl the previous week. The Mayor could not decide on who should win, despite there being a bag of gold coins as a prize for everyone. First prize was a big tub of chocolates, which the staff and teenagers shared.
