Lift shafts in ASDA and Odeon Cinema in the centre of Andover have started to fill with water today and groundwater continues to rise in the area.
In an email to Odeon managers, seen by Andover and Villages, there appears to be confusion over the exact cause of the flooding, however it has meant that the cinema has taken the precautionary measure of closing one lift until the problem is rectified.
ASDA are also having issues with one of their goods lifts suffering the same issue.
Customers are advised that this should cause no disruption to their visit, instead providing the chance to get a little exercise before catching the latest movie.
