Andover Town News - A Celebration of Manuela's Attitude of Gratitude

Senior politicians, council officers and representatives of local businesses were in Andover today to celebrate Manuela Wahnon’s Attitude of Gratitude campaign.

Among the dignitaries were local MP and Government Chief Whip, Sir George Young, MP for Romsey and Southampton North, Caroline Nokes, Leader of Test Valley Borough Council, Cllr Ian Carr and the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Janet Whitely.

Manuela, who featured on Andover and Villages last week, arranges an annual photo opportunity with each sitting Mayor in support of her continuing hard work in Andover and further afield.

Caroline Nokes MP said “I have known Manuela for several years and have always been impressed with the energy she throws into all her projects. Whether in Romsey, Andover or even Westminster, Manuela is well known for her campaigns, there is no doubt she is a tireless worker.” The MP for Romsey and Southampton North continued “Her high-vis jacket and high octane personality mean you can never miss her, she makes Test Valley a much brighter place.”

Refreshments were laid on by the newly refurbished Star & Garter Hotel on the High Street in Andover, the hotel is regularly featured in Manuela’s blogs.

This event clearly demonstrates how highly Manuela is regarded by people across Test Valley and, of course, throughout the photo shoot there wasn’t a piece of litter in sight.
