The 2017 Andover Christmas Lights Switch on was a great success, organised by TVBC’s shining star, Heather Whittam, the evening went without a hitch.

Andover’s High Street was packed with adults and children, all enjoying the entertainment on the stage parked up outside the Guildhall, compered perfectly by Breeze presenter, Robert Kenny.

The High Street was populated by food stalls, souvenirs and rides for the children.

Tourism & Information focused website, Destination Andover, highlighted that it was the biggest event of the year.

The evening ended with the Christmas Lights being switched on by The Breeze’s Shining Star, Chloe Horseman, The Mayor and the Chair of Andover Town Council.

The Chantry Centre fireworks were a complete triumph.

Disappointingly, hardly any shops were open despite the massive amount of footfall in the town, all of the coffee shops and restaurants that were open, were packed full of paying consumers.
