A piece of large scale public art is due to be installed in Andover between the 22 to 24 September, but disruption is expected to be kept to a minimum.
Renowned artist, Chris Brammall’s aeronautical sculpture, Flight and Navigation, will be installed at the entrance to Andover Business Park. The galvanised steel and aluminium piece is designed to reflect the area’s history as the former home of RAF Andover. It will provide a dramatic entrance to the business park; creating a link between the area’s past and its promising new future.
The work will be formally unveiled in October, and has been paid for with
contributions from Goodman, the company responsible for developing the business park.
