Andover came together on Sunday, lining the streets to watch the Remembrance Parade and to congregate at St Mary’s church.
The parade formed in Andover’s Bridge Street at 10am and was led up the High Street, before finishing at the cenotaph in St Mary’s Church.
Veterans, the public and politicians came together to lay wreaths and listen to the service in the church, the service was held on Sunday, 100 years after the First World War broke out, 70 years after D-Day and weeks after British troops ended combat operations in Afghanistan.
Sir George Young MP was amongst those who lay wreaths at Andover’s Cenotaph.
