The UK’s largest nightclub operator, The Deltic Group, has announced plans to invest £250,000 to transform its existing Life nightclub on London Street, Andover, into new club Cameo & Vinyl, creating 12 new jobs.
The refurbishment will create a stylish new venue that will feature exquisite décor, glamorous booths and table service together with a premium drinks offer. The nightclub’s smoking terrace will also be restyled with black Astroturf, heating lights and furnishings.
Commenting on the investment, Cameo & Vinyl’s general manager Howard Cooper said: “We’ve had ten very successful years in the town but, thanks to our new look, nights out in Andover will never be the same. Customers will be able to party hard in Cameo or groove along to the classics in our retro Vinyl room and it will be a whole new experience to the clubbing scene.”
Work has now started at the venue which will re-open on Friday 10 July with a spectacular launch weekend with a full programme of entertainment including DJ guest appearances from Pat Sharpe, multitasking performers, hostesses and great service.
Howard added: “We’re really looking forward to creating a new retro party room and updating the club room Cameo with the latest in sound, lighting, DJ stage and decor to create a place where people can step away from reality and enter a world of fun, laughs and excitement.”
From 10 July, Cameo & Vinyl will be open from Wednesdays through to Saturdays with a comprehensive entertainment schedule.
