Kerry Smith, from Andover, got hold of her ‘Stick it to Win it’ sticker from New Street Football Club.
On the last week of August 2014, Andover & Villages spotted Kerry’s car parked outside of the White Hart, in Penton, during their Help for Heroes BearBQ, displaying a ‘Stick it to Win it’ sticker in her back window. The winner was announced the following week on the Andover & Villages website and the Facebook pages of AaV and Andover Gazette. Within an hour, Kerry came forward to collect her prize.
Arrangements were made to collect the £250 prize from County Tile Warehouse, who is the sponsor of September’s ‘Stick it to Win it’ competition. Managing Director, Peter Farrar, presented Kerry with a cheque, outside of the County Tile Warehouse Showroom, on Mylen Road.
Kerry told Andover & Villages, “I am so grateful for this £250. I will be using some of it to spoil myself and then will use the rest on our animals and maybe a treat for the children.”
County Tile Warehouse was founded in 1992, and has enjoyed successfully supplying tiles to local and loyal customers since. The Andover branch was refurbished 3 years ago, and has an extensive range of displays with most tiles available within 3 days.
Peter Farrar, one of County Tiles managing directors, handed Kerry her £250 cheque, and said, “I’m sure, after what has probably been a very expensive 6 week summer holiday, this money will be greatly appreciated.”
