Andover News - Young People Raise Money for The Pink Place with High Heeled Walk

A group of young people have given up 4 weeks of their time, this summer, to support and raise funds for a local community charity, thepinkplace.org.uk, that helps people affected with Cancer.

Jess, Phoebee, Robyn, Becky, Abbie, Kelly, Jen, Liam and Hannah (team 9), and their leaders Ollie, Cody, Autumn from National Citizens Service, are walking 100,000 steps, split over 2 areas: West Quay, Southampton on Monday 4th Aug, and in Andover Town centre on Wednesday 6th Aug.

They will cover a total distance of 1.6 miles.

This may not seem like a great distance, but they will all be completing this task (including the boys) wearing high-heeled shoes.

Please show them your support and make a donation in their charity buckets or by clicking on their donation page: www.everyclick.com/ncsteam9
