Andover News - Breakers Finally Have the Keys to Community Project

Breakers have announced today that they will receive the keys, by the end of next week, to the Bridge Street premises that they will be operating from.

Director of Breakers, Anji Gillies, said, “We are hoping to get the keys, possibly by the end of next week! This means we can get in, clean, repair and start the exciting task of getting Breakers CIC reopen – hopefully for Halloween this year!”

The Breakers team have been fundraising for 19 months, after Anji and friend, Debby Beatson, came up with the idea after what they considered a high suicide rate in the town.

Breakers hopes to provide club nights on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, an under 18’s area drop-off crèche, tenpin bowling and an eating area.
