Andover Town Centre Manager, Chris Gregory, has signed up his first business to the Andover Town Centre Partnership (ATCP). Louise Ellison, from The Dress Boutique, signed up today (Thursday 26th June 2014), and will be taking a seat on the Steering Group along with other driving members of the ATCP.
Chris told Andover & Villages, “I initially met Louise at my first networking event in Andover and it was clear from the start that she was an enthusiastic and competent businesswoman in Andover Town Centre. I was then told how involved and forward thinking she was, and so I wanted her on board as soon as possible. Louise and the Dress Boutique are my first business to sign up and I am delighted that not only have we got the ball rolling on the partnership, but the first business to sign up is a true independent.”
The ATCP is being created by Chris to bring together all of the businesses in Andover Town Centre and to use the yearly payment all members contribute to drive the town centre forward.
Louise told AaV, “I was sceptical when Chris first approached me, because so many people start things for Andover and then don’t see them through, but I looked into Chris and his good credentials, and found he is the real thing, and I decided to put my trust and backing into him. If anyone can turn the town around, it’s Chris.”
Chris is currently contacting all Andover Town Centre businesses to join the ATCP and will be creating the steering group out of members and key people in the area.
