Mr Jobling, of Romney Road, is being accused of driving dangerously which led to a collision in Smannell Road on February 25, last year, which killed local man Martin Rogers, of Bridge Street, Andover.
Jobling entered a plea of not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.
The family released a statement of tribute to Martin Rogers;
“Martin was someone that was deeply loved. He had a kind soul and was a caring person to all that he met.
“He will be deeply missed, he will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts.
“We love you, lots of love from mum, brother Dean, sister Charlene, partner Dani and all that knew him.
“We would also like to thank the ambulance service for everything they did for him.”
The judge has set a date for the trial, November 18th, the trial is expected to last seven days.
Mr Jobling was released on unconditional bail.
