Andover was awash with chrome, steel and alloy wheels on Sunday as the Festival of Motoring took over the town.
Over 84 cars, 23 bikes, 2 lorries, 1 bus and a fire engine lined the streets and the roar of mechanics and motors filled the air. The Festival was organised by The Andover Town Centre Partnership (ATCP) alongside Tesco with Hampshire Hot Rides and the Enham Trust supporting the event.
Hampshire Hot Rides Michael Ford said, “It was a brilliant day with a great atmosphere. We hope to attend many more shows and bring all car and bike enthusiasts together, enjoy what we enjoy doing most and help where we can with local charities. All I can say now is thank you so much to everyone”.
Money raised by the event will go to support Diabetes UK and The British Heart Foundation. ATCP manager Chris Gregory told Andover and Villages the response from visitors was very good and he hopes the event will go ahead again next year.
