Andover Business Fair hit the High Street on Friday 28th March 2014, organised by one of Andover & Villages’ favourite ladies, Heather Whittam.

A good amount of traders had booked to turn up, but sadly a few did not arrive, possibly owing to the horrible weather on the Friday morning.

AaV turned up at around lunchtime to chat to the traders, just as the sun came out along with the howling wind, which started to batter the stalls one by one. The Andover Mind Ugly Ducklings sadly lost a few of their items, as the wind whipped under their stand. Ugly Duckling’s Mandie Taylor told us, “We have done really well today and have had lots of people visiting the stall.”

Sadly Heather made the decision to stop the market early at 2pm, rather than the booked 4pm end time, because of the wind. AaV helped some of the stall holders hold on to their gazebos and leaflets, as the wind tried to take them away.

Despite this, the traders were all in good spirits, especially on the Phil Evans Photography stand, which was remarkably busy and full of laughter throughout the day.

The next Business Fair is planned for 20th June 2014.
