People across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire are being encouraged to come along to one of a series of events being organised by South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SCAS), at which members of the public will have the chance to learn more about the ambulance service, have a look into careers or volunteering and governor opportunities and give their views on their local ambulance service.
SCAS staff will be hitting the road once again and the roadshow events are an ideal way for local people to meet and talk with Trust staff.
The roadshow will also include fun activities for children. All events can be visited on a drop-in basis:
Friday 26 August Sheep Street, Market day, Bicester, Oxfordshire OX26 6JW 9am-4pm
Friday 2 September Reading Broad Street Mall, Reading, Berkshire RG1 7QE 10am-4pm
Wednesday 14 September The Eden Centre, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire HP11 2DQ 10am-4pm
Wednesday 21 September The Festival Place, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 7BA 10am to 4pm
The Trust is also currently looking for governors and is encouraging members of the public and foundation trust members to put their names forward as candidates at its autumn 2016 election and the roadshows will be a good opportunity to find out more about the role and the various vacancies in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.
