A group of ladies will shortly be undertaking one of the most courageous walks of their lives at local stately home Penton Park, in aid of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA). – Often, fundraising events are known to involve extreme physical challenges – marathons, bicycle rides & parachute jumps for example – but this is an event with a difference! In a few weeks, a dozen brave ladies will forget their inhibitions and become catwalk models for one night only to raise vital funds for your Air Ambulance.

On the evening of Thursday 20th June, these “real women” models, all of whom have a personal connection with HIOWAA, will undergo a special makeover and take to the catwalk in outfits from Solo-Mia’s Summer Collection. The company specialises in dressing “real women”, importing beautiful, Italian clothing at very reasonable prices.

Penton Park is Danielle Rolfe’s Husband’s family home. She has experienced the rapid and emergency care of the Air Ambulance Team first hand, following a friend’s horse-riding accident in an inaccessible area of their village in 2015.

Danielle said, “We are thrilled to be hosting this exciting event with HIOWAA. It is particularly special because of our connection with the charity and the fact that the models are also connected, some of whom are ex-patients. We warmly welcome everyone to our home to enjoy this fun-filled and exciting evening.”

All the clothing displayed will be available to purchase on the night, along with other wonderful artisan products from Hampshire-based entrepreneurs. This will include gins to taste, delicious foods, handmade cosmetics, jewellery & much, much more!

HIOWAA are urging you to gather your friends & family to help support the models at this unique event, which will help keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives.

Tickets cost £12 and include a welcome drink on arrival. They are available online only through https://summerstyle999.eventbrite.co.uk. There will also be a spectacular raffle with fantastic artisan prizes. All proceeds go to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
