Independent Councillor Joins Local Conservative Group

Local Politics | Independent Councillor Joins Local Conservative Group | Andover & VillagesTest Valley’s Conservative Councillors have been strengthened by the addition of a new member as Cllr Ben Few-Brown joins the Group.

Cllr Few-Brown who represents Amport ward on the council was returned in 2015 with an increased majority standing as an independent. He was first elected to the Council in 2011.

Welcoming Ben to the Conservative Group, Test Valley Council Leader, Cllr Phil North said: “"I'm delighted to welcome Cllr Few-Brown to the Conservative Group.  He is a valuable and assiduous contributor in council meetings and I'm pleased he will now backing the majority Group as we continue with our agenda to provide efficient and effective services and improve the quality of life for the people in Test Valley."

Ben Few –Brown added: “I’ve been impressed by Phil North’s leadership and the team he has built around him to run his new administration. I am confident in this new Administration’s commitment to listening to Test Valley residents and to putting local people and businesses first.
